Goot Fever

Theres a new affliction sweeping the Fash Pack and girls next door the world over- Goot Fever (also referred to as Gootism and Goot Dependency Disorder). Symptoms include "outfit envy anxiety" characterised by twitching, the shakes and late night online "window" shopping. Celebrity sufferers include Queen C (Christine Centenera), Miranda Kerr, Lara Bingle and Kim Kardashian.

The only cure? The fashgasmic designs of Josh Goot. Bombers, vests, midriffs, skirts, dresses, neoprene, monochrome, vivid prints and colours. Clever combinations of colours and animal prints along with avant-garde fabrics had us fumbling for our phones and dialling 000 (or 911 for the Americans among us).

If you're anything like us, the thought of adorning yourself in gold Cleopatra style was almost as palatable as downing a lukewarm cup of coffee or wearing white jeggings. When asked what precious metal we prefer, our response was always invariably "platinum", quickly followed by "white gold". But times have changed and gold gold has made a come back (although for some of you it never left). But before you rush out to Zammels or your nearest high street jeweller, stop and take note- not all that glitters is gold. Ergo, be selective with your choices. Go for bold statement pieces- a chunky Celine i.d necklace, a YSL arty ring or a Cartier love bracelet. Limit your gold accessories to no more than two to three per outfit and you'll have this trend wrapped around your fingers. Literally.

Tee Party

If you hadn't noticed, designer tees are big news right now. Balenciaga, Celine, Givenchy and Rodarte have all come to the party, serving up a combination of vivid graphics and serene simplicity. If you're one of the lucky few to get a piece of the action (these babies sell out faster than a Lady Gaga show at Madison Square Garden), the next challenge is how to wear and style your tee. The brilliance of tees is that almost anything goes, and following these simple rules should keep you out of trouble and make you the envy of the tee party:

1. If the print is graphic or busy (e.g Givenchy rottweiler or Balenciaga weird trip tee), keep accessories to a minimum and keep the rest of your outfit simple. Leather pants/skirts, denim cut-offs or black tights.

2. If the print is mono-colour or simple (e.g. Rodarte or Celine), pile on the neck and arm candy. Think neon, bright colours, bling. And as to the rest of your outfit- anything goes. Bottoms can be either simple (as above) or loud, graphic or floral,
